cataracts / catarax [ˈkætəræks]
cataracts – n. pl. of cataract – clouding of the lens portion of the eye. The result is much like smearing grease over the lens of a camera and impairs normal vision.
catarax – n. – 1. a drug combination of digoxin and meclyzine; 2. an instrument to remove a cataract from the eye while leaving the capsule intact.
