quaily / quale / qualie [ˈkweili:]
quaily – n. – resembling an upland plover, Bartramia longicauda
quale – n. – a quality that is considered as an independent feature or characteristic such as whiteness and can include figurative and philosophical meanings (note quale is a homograph as well)
Do not confuse with qualie (- n. & adj. - colloquial - a qualifying exam or round such as in tennis) which has a short "a" sound in the first syllable.
